The AI+ project is coordinated by the University of Coruña (UDC). All the participants from the UDC belong to the Integrated Group for Engineering Research and to the CITIC Research Center. The GII is a multidisciplinary research group involved in research in a broad range of fields related to intelligent systems applied to engineering. The key persons involved in the teaching unit development are University professors with a long-term experience in robotics and Artificial Intelligence, both in research and teaching. In addition, PhD students and software engineers are involved in different tasks of the project.
Fran Bellas is an Associate Professor at the Computer Science and Information Technologies department. He works in Autonomous Robotics since 2001, leading different educational robotics projects.
Richard J. Duro is the head of the GII group, and he is a Full Professor at the Computer Science and Information Technologies department. His main research interests are focused on autonomous robotics and intelligent systems.
Alma Mallo is an Associate Lecturer at the UDC. She has been working as software engineer for more than 20 years, and she will supervise the programming developments for the AI+ students.
